Since the
appearance of the electronic cigarette, a new word has emerged in our usual
vocabulary, this word is "vaping" along with all its derivatives such
as vaper, vaping, vape ... But what is vaping?
How vaping started?
Vaping was invented
in China thanks to ex-pharmacist Hon Lik, who wanted to invent a healthier
alternative to smoking. Its result was the electronic cigarette, a device
capable of producing vapour by emulating tobacco smoke, thus giving the
sensation that it is smoked without producing combustion, or consuming tobacco
and reducing the risk of contracting diseases by 95%.
Vaping is
considered one of the best alternatives to quit smoking for different reasons
such as: the possibility of adjusting the nicotine, the false sensation of smoking
due to the similarity of the act of vaping with smoking, the great reduction of
risks, the reduction of harm passive smoker and financial savings.
If you want to
start vaping, vaping starter kits are a very good option to try electronic
cigarettes without spending a lot of money and acquiring an efficient device
with all the accessories without risking that you don't like it; Since,
although it is a lot like smoking (it contains nicotine and you can use
tobacco-flavoured liquids so that the change from tobacco to vaping is not so
great), vaping and smoking are not the same and may not convince you. In
addition, if you’re looking for cheap vape kits
like the Zeus Juice NZO Pod Starter Kit or the Smok RPM160 Pod Kit, look no
further than vapesdirect.
Side effects of vaping
Vaping is quite
recent, the first electronic cigarette to be marketed appeared in 2004 in China
and not enough studies have been done yet or enough time has passed to know if
vaping produces side effects.
However, if we take
into account the ingredients that an e-liquid has (propylene glycol, vegetable
glycerin, flavourings and nicotine) they are harmless substances that we can
perfectly find in foods that want to be sweetened having fewer calories than
sugar. Nicotine, as much as it has been said about its malicious effects, the
only thing that causes is an addiction to tobacco and it is totally necessary
to pass the process of quitting smoking. According to a toxicology study, for
nicotine to be toxic, large amounts would have to be consumed (500-1000 mg of
nicotine orally) and, anyway, not all e-liquids contain nicotine.
In addition, it
must also be taken into account that since its appearance there have been no
relevant cases that strongly affirm that vaping has an adverse effect. In the
event that we consider the two cases of lipoid pneumonia that have occurred in
the world as an adverse effect of vaping, it must be said that even doctors
have declared that it is not conclusive since two cases cannot demonstrate a
relationship between the use of these devices and disease.
Great tips, many thanks for sharing. I have printed and will stick on the wall! I like this blog. Pure Mist Vape Ireland
